The Gaia Half Marathon, the Corrida do Atlântico, announces Gymstar as the Official Gym of the 2027 edition, which takes place on 14 March in Vila Nova de Gaia.
The partnership makes Gymstar a Gold Sponsor of the race and its official partner in the gym, health club and fitness studio category, creating a natural link between two brands with a strong connection to sport, physical activity and the community.
The collaboration means even more given Gymstar's presence in Vila Nova de Gaia. Its Madalena club is right by the Half Marathon course, bringing the brand physically close to the thousands of athletes and participants who will take part in the next edition of the Corrida do Atlântico.
Over the coming months, the partnership will lead to a range of joint initiatives, including race preparation sessions, training open to the community, digital activations, competitions and other experiences designed to bring Gaia Half Marathon participants closer to the Gymstar community.
The agreement also includes the Gymstar brand on the event's main communication and visibility materials, strengthening its association with the third edition of a race that keeps growing in size and reach.
In 2026, the Gaia Half Marathon brought together 7,272 participants from 69 nationalities, confirming the event's ability to attract Portuguese and international athletes and strengthening Vila Nova de Gaia's position as a running destination.
The 2027 edition will also be broadcast in full on TVI.
For the organisers, this partnership is about more than a brand's presence at the event. The aim is to build an active relationship during the months leading up to the race, using sport as a meeting point between athletes, the gym, the community and the region.
Gymstar's involvement in the Gaia Half Marathon starts now, with new initiatives and activations to be announced progressively until 14 March 2027.
