Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the official website of the Gaia Half Marathon 2027, owned by Global Sport, and the purchase of products and services associated with the event.

Purpose and identification
GSX Portugal, Unipessoal, Lda. (Global Sport), with registered office at Avenida Polo 3, nº 72, 4590-052 Paços de Ferreira, Portugal, tax number (NIPC) 514 779 012, organises tourism entertainment activities, sports activities and events, offering its customers the possibility of purchasing services and products associated with the events it promotes, namely registrations for the Gaia Half Marathon 2027. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of this website and the electronic purchase of products and services.
Acceptance
Ordering and purchasing products and services presupposes reading, understanding and accepting these Terms and Conditions. Global Sport reserves the right to change or review them at any time, and any changes will be published at www.globalsport.pt.
Information about products and services
Products and services have the characteristics described at the time they are made available. Global Sport undertakes to correct any errors as soon as they are detected and reserves the right not to complete an order if there are errors in prices or characteristics resulting from technical problems beyond its control. All prices shown include VAT at the legal rate in force. Payment service providers may charge transaction fees.
Registrations and orders
The data marked as mandatory is essential to complete the registration or order, and the customer is solely responsible for its accuracy. After selecting the services, the customer confirms the order, enters the requested data, chooses the payment method and receives an email with the corresponding information.
Payment
Payment may be made by Multibanco reference or by card. When paying by Multibanco, the customer has a set period in which to pay; if no payment is made within that period, the registration is cancelled and a new registration is required. When paying by card, the registration is recorded once payment is confirmed.
Cancellation and refunds
No refunds are made for the cancellation of purchased registrations, nor where the athlete is unable to take part for any reason. There may be specific conditions for each race (21K, 10K or charity walk), in accordance with the respective rules, which participants should consult.
User obligations
The user undertakes to comply with these Terms and with applicable law, to provide true and up-to-date data, not to falsify their identity, not to carry out illegal activities or activities harmful to the rights of Global Sport or third parties, and not to introduce content containing viruses or that compromises the operation of the systems.
Intellectual property
This website is the property of Global Sport. All brands, logos, symbols and content used are the property of Global Sport or of third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by applicable law.
Liability
Services provided over an open network are subject to interruptions and faults beyond Global Sport's control, and Global Sport cannot be held liable for damage resulting from delays, interruptions, communication errors, loss of data or misuse by third parties. Global Sport has implemented appropriate security measures for data transmission, and the user remains responsible for the confidentiality of their access details.
Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which guarantees the data subject the rights of access, rectification and updating of their data.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Portuguese law applies to everything not expressly regulated in these Terms and Conditions. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit the matter to the jurisdiction of the District Court of Porto (Tribunal da Comarca do Porto), waiving any other.
